It's no secret - women and minorities are underserved in many fields, including sleep. Promoting a wider range of screening, as well as increased access to sleep education and treatment is important for sleep equity. This is clearly demonstrated in our content.
Teresa is a content creator and a thought-leader in the sleep coaching space. She credits her unique perspective to over 15 years of experience working with hundreds of healthcare providers, patients, athletes and employee wellness groups.
Driven by her dedication (borderline obsession) to improving access to accurate sleep information, Teresa founded Sleep Better NYC (SBNYC) to cut through the "noise" of complicated medical jargon and generic ads for "sleep aids." Her expertise has made her a national speaker on topics ranging from sleep hygiene and basic sleep science to dental sleep medicine protocols and remote physiological monitoring (RPM) for obstructive sleep apnea patients.
Teresa works remotely from Brooklyn, NY, and travels all of the country for work, and of course a few vacations with her husband. She loves a good boxing workout, never turns down Italian food, and enjoys wine and whiskey from time to time.
Following her commitment to increase access and efficiency of patient-centered care, she has become the Director of Marketing for Synthpop AI. She is also a Sleep Science Advisor for Aeroflow Sleep.
